Track follow-ups and protect your reputation
A disciplined follow-up routine is more useful than frequent messaging.
1. After manually sending a pitch, record the actual send date and your next review date.
2. Check whether a reply has arrived before writing a follow-up.
3. Personalize any next message to the show and previous contact.
4. If you receive a decline or an opt-out request, update the record and suppress additional outreach.
5. When a booking is confirmed, record the agreed show details and next preparation tasks.
Suggested cadence (editorial guidance, not an automated feature): one polite follow-up approximately 7–10 days after the initial pitch, and possibly one final check later if appropriate. Stop immediately when asked. There is no benefit to repeatedly contacting an unresponsive host.
